Two days in NJ...

So we made it to NJ!!! It was a long and hard day flying with the kids. We were VERY glad to be stopping in NJ...not sure we would have made it all the way through... We did a little sight seeing when we were there...went to the Point Pleasant boardwalk...super fun! We went to the aquarium with the kids and Uncy Neil the resident marine biologist to tell us all about everything!

We played some Skee Ball...brings back some memories for me! Boy did the cost go up...we used to be able to play a game for a dime...now it is 5o cents!!! But none the less the kids had a great time...Gwen just wanted to play with the balls!!! Then we turned in our tickets and got our fabulous plastic spider rings and continued on our way...

And what is a trip to the boardwalk without all the treats and food??? So we got some salt water taffy, ice cream cones (orange and vanilla of course), french fries WITH vinegar, and then something to wash it down with!! And finally we walked on the beach, collected some shells (which conviently didn't make it into the suitcase ;) and got sand in our shoes!

Our trip to visit the NJ Grandparents was short but sweet! We really enjoyed the trip and the rest stop as it was! For sure we will visit again this summer...as I don't currently have plane tickets from Newark to Montana...I guess we will just worry about that later!!!

Ciao!
